Objectives

1) The objects of the Society are:—

a) Primarily to create funds to be lent out to members/Joint or Nominal Members against such surety/securities as be prescribed in the bye-law and i) against personal surety for members only. ii) long term mortgage of immovable property. iii) other valuable security.
b) to invest funds for the benefit of members, in banking or other forms of business permissible under the A the Banking. Ragulation Act, 1949 (As applicable to CO-operative Societies) or any other law in force for the being.
c) generally to encourage thrift, savings selthelp and mutual aid amongst its members/nominal or joint members.
d) to open branches and pay offices with the permission of the Registering Authority and Reserve Bank of India v the area of operation of the Bank so as to render services to the members//nominal or joint members as provid 1(a) above.

2) In furtherance of the above objects the society shall be at liberty :—

a) to contract loans by way of deposits or otherwise from members/nominal or joint members, non-members o other source;
b) to create a providend or similar fund for the benefit of members/nominal or joint members & staff.
c) to purchase, take on lease or in exchange, or otherwise acquire lands, buildings or any movable or immo property necessary for the business of the society;
d) to grant aids to educational, charitable or religious institutions of Konnagar in deserving cases, if funds p subject to regulation prescribed in the Act, Rules for the time being.
e) to establish Safe Locker Vault to allot to members or nominal members/constituents/non-members against chart will be fixed by the Board from time to time and in need the Board shall make norms for the purpose.
